Program Overview

Introduces young learners to the exciting world of robotics through storytelling, building, and creative problem solving. Students use LEGO WeDo components to design and program robots while exploring science concepts like motion, energy, sensors, and simple machines.

How the curriculum progresses
  • Level 1 (Building Blocks): First robot builds, beginner block-based programming, basic motor/sensor interactions, and connections to science topics.
  • Level 2 (Applying Imagineer): Exploring force, speed, and motion while building advanced structures like vehicles, claws, and walking robots.
  • Level 3 (Wiz Engineer Jr.): Designing complex systems like helicopters and trucks, culminating in independent robot design and creative engineering.
